We will automatically upload all firmware and software upgrades to your Remote Patrol Server, security software and camera firmware. Updates will be done by Remote Patrol without any interruption of service or inconvenience. We can also automatically reboot your server and monitor your equipment remotely. System maintenance varies depending on individual needs, but generally this option is used to detect problems and tampering, maintain system security, updates, changes in system setup, user administration and technical support. Pricing is based on number of cameras.

• Periodic remote monitoring to detect problems with power, network, hardware malfunction or tampering.
• Software and security patches to the server operating system as they become available.
• Software and security patches to the camera's embedded software and operating system as they become available.
• Updates to the server recording software as they become available.
• Administration of users (add / remove users as needed).
• Changes, after initial installation, to the camera and server setup. (add / remove stop points in guard mode, change recording frame rate or quality).

Remote Storage

If you prefer to your video to be stored on our secure data server and backed up automatically, take advantage of Remote Patrol's Remote Storage Option. This option eliminates the need to spend time with the recording aspect of the system. No set up fees.

Local Storage
(Remote Maintenance & Monitoring can be added as an additional option for Local Storage.)
If you'd like to store you video locally, this is the standard option when ordering a Remote Patrol System. With this option you are responsible for maintaining, storing and backing up your video files. Each Remote Patrol Server has a data storage capacity of 80GB (standard). When your local server has reached its capacity you will need to either back up the video or overwrite to your local hard drive on your Remote Patrol Server. Please see the learning center to calculate your camera storage usage.
